LearningExpress Library through the Lower Providence Community Library
The Lower Providence Community Library provides access to a wide range of online practice exams and improvement courses. From GED tests to Real Estate License tests, online practice exams make it easy to prepare for just about any standardized test. The tests are offered free of charge to residents of Lower Providence Township with a library card. Individuals living in another municipality should contact their home library for access. Access is available from anywhere you have an Internet connection: library, home, office, or even Internet Cafe. 1. To begin using LearningExpress Library, visit the library’s website at http://lowerprovidencelibrary.org and click on the Electronic Resources link at the top of the page. Then, click on the link for LearningExpress. Or, click on the icon right now for access. 2. Click on the option “Please Sign In” as a New User. 3. You will be asked to enter a user name and to create a password. You must use your 14 digit library barcode number as your user name. 4. You must register to use LearningExpress in order to create a private personalized account. 5. After registering, you will be taken to the list of available test preparation materials. Select a test by clicking on it. 6. Some test categories have more than one test available. If you have any questions about the test, click on the name of the test for more information. Or, click “Practice Now” to be taken directly to the test. 8. Some tests may be timed. If your selection is timed, there will be a clock running in the upper right hand corner. 9. For each question, select an answer by clicking on it's corresponding circle. You can choose "skip this question" if you would like to return to it later. 10. When you have finished the test, you will have the opportunity to go back and answer any skipped questions. Or, you can click "Finish" to score your test. At this point, you will also see your correct and incorrect answers. 11. If you are unable to complete the test for any reason, choose "Finish Later" from the list of options. Your test will be saved for future access. 12. Make sure you sign off of your account. 13. The next time you visit LearningExpress Library, sign on as "Returning User." Type in your previously registered user name and password. 14. When you return, you can select a new test or, if you want to complete an unfinished test, click on "My Account." 15. The tests previously visited will be displayed. Incomplete tests will be saved in your account for 30 days. An incomplete test will open with the unanswered or skipped questions, allowing you the opportunity to start there, or return to the beginning of the test.
